STATELESSNESS IN SINGAPORE
There is a lack of awareness about Statelessness in Singapore. Besides being denied of opportunities, our Stateless are not accepted as people who contribute to our society.
Due to the lack of knowledge amongst employers, they feel unsure of hiring the Stateless, taking away chances for them to support themselves.
SOLUTION - Almost Home
An integrated campaign that aims to bridge the gap between the society and our Stateless, bringing them a step closer to Home.
Looking back at this project, I find that the only truly remarkable effort was mainly the films that we did. I recently thought of a better idea that would suit 'Almost Home', as cliche as this is going to sound - 'Almost Home' by Airbnb. A campaign by Airbnb that raises awareness for the Stateless, or maybe even - allowing netizens to fund needy Stateless people with Homes (?). Along the lines of how Airbnb believes everyone deserves to have a place to feel at 'Home'..? Hmm.. I'll update this again when I think of a better insight.. Ciao
